The banjo may have gotten a bum wrap thanks to old movies but Old Man Luedecke is going to bring it back into form. Chris Luedecke can pick and sing like the devil’s own off spring. And speaking of devil’s own, can you believe that D.O.A. is celebrating 30 years of recording with a new release this year produced by Bob Rock? Of course the book All Your Ears Can Hear chronicles the local Victoria punk scene starting 30 years ago and is a great read for anyone. On another side of the local scene Aidan Knight is a man of many talents and you should go see some of them when he plays with Julie Doiron at Lucky Bar, Wednesday April 9.
